Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

The Basics

We provide a great way to get local, seasonal food directly from our farm by offering a certain number of weekly “shares" to the public. Typically the share consists of vegetables, and other farm products. Interested consumers purchase a share (aka a “membership” or “subscription”) and in return receive an amount of seasonal produce each week throughout a ten-week cycle.

  • Direct selling removes mark up by middlemen and enables a fairer price

  • Freshly picked produce on harvest day without traveling

  • All crops are ecologically grown without the use of chemicals

  • Produce has higher levels of micronutrients that positively effect gut microflora

  • Skip the store and the planting. Just pick up from our farm

  • Kids typically favor food from "their" farm - even veggies

  • Know exactly where your food is coming from

  • Marketing is done before our 16 hour days in the greenhouse and fields

  • Have an opportunity to get to know our customers

  • Knowing where the food we produce is going and who will be eating it

  • Early payment helps the farmer with planning ahead for planting and purchases.

Member shares will be picked up on Thursday afternoon every week at Adragone Aeroponics,

3140 Conestoga Road, Glenmoore, PA.

If you will miss a pickup, simply ask a friend or relative to come in your place. CSA membership is similar to theater or music subscriptions—if you miss a “performance,” you forfeit your share for that week. That said, if you contact Adragone Aeroponics with a special scheduling need for a given week, we will try to accommodate you.

Please bring the bags issued at the first pick-up. They are washable and reusable. Our conscious effort to stop using plastic disposable bags.
